Diabetic Management and Insulin Administration Training
This course will review key concepts related to caring for residents with diabetes including the types of diabetes, preventing and recognizing complications, nutritional considerations and insulin administration.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion.
Unlicensed assistive personnel who administer insulin injections in personal care homes or assisted living residences are required to successfully complete iNurse Delegate’s Diabetic Management Training, Insulin Administration and Medication Administration training prior to becoming eligible for delegation.
